Pam in Ottawa Art - Texture, colour, and the poetry of the world around us

Responding to the stunning array of textures, forms, colours, as well as sounds and smells, I have always reacted in a visceral way to my world, seeing objects and reacting to my senses abstractly and with intensity. My work is often a dialogue between what I see around me and the way I interpret the forms, bringing a variety of materials together in ways that evoke but are not literal representations of living things or natural objects. A truly expressive abstract mixed media artist, art feeds my soul, is a catharsis...and a form of expression, of emotion, of beauty unlike any other creative venture I've pursued.

Mixed media abstract artist located in Kanata/Ottawa Ontario, Canada, I am pleased to be represented in several locations around the area, including representation at Foyer Gallery here in Ottawa, and participate often in festivals and shows featuring fine art.  Please see the events page for the latest listings of where you can find my art.  I am also very happy to announce that I have recently partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa to support mentoring youth in the Ottawa community. It's a cause I feel strongly about, and in my 20s I was a Big Sister myself and plan to sign up again to be one in the future!  A portion of all original art sales will now go to support BBBSO!

Please check my shop for the latest inventory of original pieces, or contact me about a custom piece you would love to have created.  Keep in mind also that most pieces are available as a fine art print in custom sizes and can be ordered framed or unframed, and a line of wearable art is now available, manufactured with Canadian fabric here in Canada.

Thanks for supporting my art journey, and be sure to connect with me on social media via the links below where I often share my thoughts, my latest works as even some tips and tricks and works in progress.
